A description of skills and competencies

Interpersonal skills

Ability to foresee the effect, the own words and actions will have on the surrounding. Showing respect and a willingness to help colleagues and other people. Grasping what motivates others, being able to understand Other people’s strong and less strong points, and the reasons for behaviors of different individuals. 

Acting as a good ambassador for the company, being loyal and positive towards the own development as well as the development of others. Being both humble and energetic, always trying to find something positive and useful in any situation, and encouraging other people to act in the same way. Acknowledging the efforts of other people and promoting learning and progress. 

Appreciating changes and being positive to new tasks and new ways of working, having the ability to change priorities if needed.

Communication skills

Ability to establish good relations and to understand other people’s attitudes, interests, needs and perspectives.

Carrying through working tasks with high quality in a good mood, even in hard times. Being able to deal with many different things, seeing opportunities and encouraging people to success. Dealing with crises fast and effectively when they appear. Showing an ability to listen and to understand other people’s arguments. Displaying skills in finding workable solutions and agreements, even together with people of different opinions. Always showing a positive attitude and acting in a way that makes people feel satisfied. Enjoying talking about the job and to explain and clarify certain issues.

Leadership Skills

Being able to create trust and displaying integrity with strong personal principles. Setting up standards and clear goals, and inspiring confidence in others to reach those goals. Being able to make competent judgements regarding what’s right and wrong, giving credits and noticing adequate achievements. 

Having an outspoken wish to take personal accountability, being reliable and punctual. Anticipating problems in a realistic way, and planning how to deal with them. Being creative and taking initiatives for change and improvements. 

Independently and actively seeking information and acting when possibilities are given, Having the ability to structure different tasks and to make the work more effective. By personal example, being able to create enthusiasm and commitment for both the company and different work-tasks.

Commercial competencies

Being sales oriented and understanding the important parts of efficient sales and recruiting processes. Thinking one step ahead, being able to analyze what it takes to fulfill a mission on time. Being able to systematically analyze and examine various aspects of a task, and understanding the consequences and results of different actions. 

Being able to trace connections, patterns, shortages and deviations not visible to everyone. Working effectively and often surpassing what is needed. Enjoying challenges and to work towards high well-defined set up goals. Applying new ideas and having the capacity of conveying guidelines, suggestions or other kinds of help. 

Seeing possibilities and can push work to be carried out faster, as well as easier, better and more effective. Being good in handling stress, and showing an attitude of never giving up until a task is accomplished.

Social media competencies

Being an active influencer, having the capability of using several kinds of platforms as tools for discussions and for conveying information. Capable of transforming an idea to a convincing message, regarding how a situation could be changed.

Having the capacity to come up with creative and imaginative ideas, which will be effective in the improvement of how the work is done. Understanding the importance of being updated within the areas of social media, and having the capacity to find ways to develop your own competence. Demonstrating a capability to structure ideas and principles in coherent, efficient and interesting presentations.
